The sad Cloud - Portugal
Once upon a time there was a litle sad cloud... :-(
She wanted to be: a balloon, a plane, a buterfly...
But she only was happy when she found out how beautiful was to be a CLOUD. ;-)

The game of cyclone-board game from Spain
Some days ago we shared from Spain pictures of our Game of Cyclone. It's very difficult for us to send you a file to print because children drew it on a big board. However, it's easy to make if you see the picture or if you take as a reference the famous Game of Goose. Now we share the rules you can follow to play the game.
Our Game of Cyclone is similar to the Game of
Goose.
Players: 4-6
Materials: 1 dice, as many pieces as players.
Children can draw a board with as many spaces
as they want (between 40 and 60 is good). The spaces include pictures related to
weather and special spaces related to extreme weather phenomena. Players throw
the dice and they move forward along the board. There are special spaces with a
special treatment. These are:
- Cyclone: If the piece lands on a cyclone, it
moves forward to the next cyclone. Then, throw the dice again.
- Earthquake: stay for one turn
- Draught: wait until someone comes
to pull you out - they then take your place
- Thunderstorm: return
your piece to the beginning
- Tsunami: If the piece lands on a tsunami, it
moves forward to the next tsunami. Then, throw the dice again. Tsunami is similar
to the bridge space in the Game of Goose, that is, we just include two tsunami
spaces.
- Whirlwind: If the piece lands on the first
whirlwind, it moves forward to the second one. If the piece lands on the second
whirlwind, it moves back to the first one.
We hope you try and enjoy it!
