Osnovna šola Vransko - Tabor is small school, with 378 students age from 6 to 15 years old. There are 52 teachers, our school also include kindergarten with around 130 children age from 1 to 6 years old and 30 pre teachers. In our school are also students with special needs and they have special teachers to help them go through the school education.
Our school is located in the centre of Slovenia, small town with rich history and a lot of differrent activities for sport, and we also have four museums.
In school we were coordinating one Comenius project in year 2008/2009, and we coordinating three aces projects. Our wision is: "Everything has its roots in the respect that if you respect yourself , you respect others , labor, environment and nature - another respect you. Respect is reflected in your behavior. " We also run a lot national projects about environment, reading, mediation, positive discipline in classroom. We are especialy proud of our volunteer club, witch is very successful in his field. They cooperate with home for elder people and help people in needs. Our teachers and students know very good how to use ICT and all our classrooms are good equipment with ICT. We have computers and overhead projectors in all classrooms.

Through the school year we organize different special days like: ecological day with workshops for all students, day for changes: workshops: working together we will succeed, bazar: Beem of hope; raising money for students in need, cultural day: We all love to read, celebration of Mothers day, organizing school trips to different parts of Slovenia, organizing school in nature for skiing, swimming, nature survival, first aid.
