Traditional masquerade festival in Vransko, Slovenia

Every year our town prepares masquerade festival.
"Pust", as we call this festival day, is traditionally and popularly celebrated by the people of Slovenia, although not being work-free. The date of "pust"  varies. We celebrate this holiday 40 days before easter.
At this day people get dressed up in funny costumes and they want to scare away the winter and welcome the spring.
Each year we choose a topic, and the pupils get dressed up depends on the topic.
This year we chose weather for our main topic because our cooperation in Head in the clouds project. Each class prepared a group costume, which represented a part of weather conditions.
