Clouds in Slovenia

·   We were hicking with »our heads in the clouds« around the kindergarten Vransko. We settle down at the stream side and just lie down with our barefoot on the meadow. We looked at the blue sky with only a few white clouds…then we become curius. Using the literature, we learn about the clouds and named it. So we knew several types of clouds (Cumulus, Cumulonimbus, Stratus, Stratucumulus, Cirus,…).The clouds witch we were observed we painted. We looked at images of extreme weather conditions (floods, drougat, storm , ice storm , hail storms , lightning storms and a tornado.) We have learned to protect against storm and lightening. We did an experiment powerful wind storm – tornado. We watched the swirling movement in the form of a funell, its speed and aware of his power.

For the experiment we need two bottles, water, glue and some smal pearls. We tested the wind direction and its speed – we made a windmill. We sang a song about the clouds: Kadar oblaki kihajo; Bojana Vajt; Matevž Goršič.
